Martín founded the school in 2015 and is a certified IKO Level 1 instructor — over 10 years of experience, 300+ students taught, and lessons given across Chile, Greece, Spain, Morocco, Tanzania, Poland, and Brazil. Common questions
Do I need experience?
No. Most students start from zero. Private lessons are the easiest way to go from your first time on the water to independent riding, at your own pace.
How much does a lesson cost?
Small-group lessons start at €46 per person per hour, advanced coaching is €55 per hour and private 1-on-1 lessons are €69 per hour, with full equipment included. Euro prices are approximate: the official price is in Chilean pesos (CLP) and the final amount is confirmed when you book.
Is the wind really reliable?
Yes — Puclaro’s wind is thermal, driven by the temperature difference between the cold Pacific and the hot inland desert. The season runs September to May, with the strongest, most consistent wind from December to March.

Is equipment included?
Yes, all lessons include full kite equipment and a radio-coaching helmet. You just need swimwear, a towel and SPF 50+ sunscreen — the desert sun is strong.
Can I rent gear if I already kite?
Yes. If you already ride, you can rent a full kitesurf setup by the hour, day or week. Message us on WhatsApp for rates and availability.
Is there a minimum age or weight?
Generally from 12–14 years old and a minimum body weight of around 40–45 kg, depending on conditions on the day. Message us on WhatsApp if you’re unsure — we’ll tell you honestly if it’s a good fit.
How many hours do I need?
Most riders reach independent riding after 15–20 hours of private lessons. You can book hour by hour or as a package spread across your stay.
